We're very excited about the coming Holiday season and wanted to share some of the new products from Kiki of Sweden with you.

The big item for the season is Ekelunds Antibacterial dishcloth! It is voted the Textile of the year, 2009 in Sweden! Made of cotton and bamboo viscose,  it absorbs very well. You can sterilize it in your microwave oven—just wet the dishcloth, put it in the microwave on high for 4 minutes,.  Or you can wash it in high temperature in your washing machine. I love to be able to kill the germs daily!!!

And it comes in fabulous colors and pattern. Patty at Plat du Jour in Annapolis also suggested using it as a little doilie,  a mini place mat or for a tray.  The best thing of all is the price point! $10.50, makes it a lovely and very affordable hostess or Christmas gift!

There are also some very cute new towel designs and I have found that the small size towel is just a great gift for the holidays as well!

I had the pleasure to visit with Ekelund Weavers in Horred on my resent trip to Sweden and embrace their fantastic products and ideals, I will always keep carry their line! They have come out with some new great designs for the holiday season which you can find in my web!

I also found a lot of interesting objects at the flea markets in Malmo, Jonkoping and Stockholm. Resulted in a lot of old glass and ceramics that will be showcased at the DC Big Flea events as well as the Swea and Swedish Embassy.
